We have normal showroom hours presently, so here is how the in-person sales and loading will be handled:

NOTE: Please call in your order 301-824-6223 or fill out the form below regardless of how your pellets are coming to you. That way we can manage the inventory and ensure that we have what everyone needs in a timely fashion.

1. Please call in your order and then arrive to pay either cash or credit/debit card and we can load you up.
2. You can also call in your order and we will set up the sale in the computer and collect payment with a credit card. As always, we cannot hold your pellets for more than a few days. You will need to let us know when you will be arriving to pick them up – we need to make sure a forklift driver is available when you get here! You then come into the store, sign for them and we will forklift load the pellets on your vehicle, if possible. If you are one who takes multiple trips with a smaller vehicle and usually hand load your pellets, we will position a skid for you with your receipt attached and you can pick them up when it is convenient for you within 24 hours. Please remember that we do not provide security or weather protection for opened skids.
3. We will have normal loading hours from 9:00am-11:00am and 3:00pm-4:50pm Monday thru Friday and Saturday from 9:00am-11:00am. If you need loading at other times, call for an appointment and we will try to be accommodating.
4. **Please call before you intend to arrive to ensure that we have an available forklift driver on site **

If you are desiring delivery, the normal delivery fees* are:

• 1 ton $90
• 2 tons $100
• 3 tons $110
• 4 tons $120
• 5 tons $130
• 6 tons $220
• 7 tons $230
• 8 tons $240
• 9 tons $250
• 10 tons $260

The maximum the delivery truck can handle is five (5) tons – that is 10,000 pounds of pellets! Two trips are required when more than five tons are ordered. If your delivery is particularly difficult and requires three persons for delivery, there is an additional charge of $45. Excess mileage is charged if you are beyond our normal 20 mile delivery area. Be aware that our delivery trucks are HUGE and 1 ton of pellets weighs 2,000 lb. With that in mind, we can only safely deliver to flat and paved, level surfaces like a garage or a driveway.

Also, keep in mind that your driveway must be clear of low hanging branches. Our trucks require a minimum height of 13′. We will not risk damaging our trucks. If we cannot complete the delivery, the delivery fee will still be charged since we did drive there to attempt to make the delivery.

We are taking orders with scheduling to be done when we know the days that our employees will be available to make deliveries. Payment is due at the time of delivery. If you call in late April and our delivery calendar is filled, you will have to pay the May price when we deliver, so the earlier you call, the better. Please work with us to allow delivery early in April so that we can keep the stock moving smoothly.

While we cannot predict the future, we would recommend that you stock up while you can. Hamer traditionally starts raising their price in May and going forward, so we expect that this will be the lowest price we will be able to offer this year.
We encourage you to plan for the coming season by buying your pellets now so that you will not be affected by shortages or rising costs at the end of the season next year. As long as pellets are kept dry, they will store indefinitely.

All pellets must be picked up / delivered by 30 April to get this price. If you buy them in April, but pick them up in May, you will have to pay the difference in the price at time of pickup. We do not have the capacity to store your pellets until a later date.

Annual pellet service will be reduced to $235.00 with a 3 ton or more purchase per stove appliance. Please call for pellet furnace and boiler pricing. This special pricing will be valid from April 1st through July 31st 2024. That price is expected to raise August 1st for the fall and winter seasons.
